Everything about Villa Artchi
Villa Artchi accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 bedrooms, each with its own character and original art nouveau details. The villa is rented exclusively: you have the entire property for your group, with no other guests or shared spaces. You have access to all the salons, the fully equipped kitchen with Smeg range, three bathrooms, the cosy outdoor terrace and all communal living areas. Ideal for families, groups of friends or a special occasion where privacy and space are paramount. The villa is available year-round, including public holidays and school breaks.
The minimum stay at Villa Artchi is 2 nights. During peak season, from July through August, a minimum of 7 nights applies due to high demand. In the shoulder seasons, shorter stays of 2 to 4 nights are perfectly possible and ideal for experiencing the quieter atmosphere of Blankenberge outside the busy summer period. For weekends during school holidays we recommend booking well in advance. Unfortunately pets are not permitted at Villa Artchi. This policy is in place to protect the original interiors, the antique parquet floors dating from 1906, the historic textiles and the authentic art nouveau furnishings. The villa is a listed heritage monument and its interior elements are irreplaceable. We understand this may be disappointing for some guests, but the preservation of this heritage is our priority. Blankenberge has a number of pet-friendly accommodation options nearby. Please feel free to contact us at info@villa-artchi.be if you have questions about alternative options in the area.
Villa Artchi is just a 5-minute walk from Blankenberge beach, one of the widest sandy beaches on the Belgian coast. The pier, town centre, fish market and marina are all within comfortable walking distance. Blankenberge train station, with direct connections to Brussels, Ghent and Bruges, is a 10-minute walk away. The villa's location in the belle epoque quarter makes it an ideal base for both beach holidays and cultural day trips to the historic town centre and nearby coastal cities such as Bruges and De Haan.
There is limited on-street parking available in the Malecotstraat and surrounding streets. Blankenberge has several public car parks within easy walking distance of the villa, including a large car park near the train station. Parking is paid in most zones from April to September. We recommend checking the current parking situation via the municipality's website or the Blankenberge city app upon arrival.
